I remember when mystique was introduced to the world. Such a pretty foil fabric, but I had some hesitancy to use it. The foil since then has been perfected and the adhesion is much better than the original. This is the perfect fabric to create stunning gymnastics leotards with. It has depth and shine like no other fabric. With it, we can help you design exclusive gymnastic competition leotards for your team. The fabric works well in sleeveless gymnastics leotards for workout or competition. The stretch is no longer held back by the adhesive, but it might feel slightly tighter until it is worn a few times. We also make gymnastics shorts with mystique. Our black can be used as gymnastics competition shorts. We do have some special washing instructions to follow, first, if it is a competition leotard, please follow those instructions. Cold water wash with salt water, no detergent. Do not rub this fabric, as it will dull the foil. As for sleeveless workout leotards, I turned my daughters' leotards inside out and threw them in the washing machine on a cold, gentle cycle.
