About Snowflake Designs Gymnastics Wear
Snowflake Designs has been creating gymnastic leotards, competition leotards, warm-up suits, and gymnastics accessories since 1985. All of our gymnastics leotards are made in the USA. We are located in the heart of the Central Valley of California and have a physical shop that gymnasts can visit. You can find handcrafted Snowflake leotards in gymnastics competitions and gymnastics gyms all across the world. Although we have grown over the years, our goal remains the same: Snowflake Designs strives to make a positive impact on the gymnastics community while building relationships along the way. With our high-quality gymnastics leotards and stellar customer service, we know you will love your new gymnastics wear and want you to be satisfied with every purchase and interaction. The Story Behind the Name: Snowflake Designs
The name "Snowflake Designs" was inspired by a play LaDonna Snow's last name. LaDonna is the CEO and founder of Snowflake Designs. When she married her husband, Rick Snow, a friend commented, "Oh, how cute. When you have kids, you'll have a bunch of little snowflakes running around," and the name stuck in the back of LaDonna's mind.
How Snowflake Designs Gymnastics Wear Got Started
LaDonna Snow started the company in 1985 when she started making leotards for her then-2-year-old daughter. She was a former baton twirler herself, so sewing the leotards was easy for her. Other gymnastics moms would ask where she got her daughter's leotards from, and when they found out that LaDonna made them herself, they asked if she would make them for their daughters also. And just like that, in a bedroom in her family home, a business was born!
The business took off once Snowflake Designs hit the internet (c.1995) and began selling nationally and internationally.

Snowflake Designs has expanded over the years and now sells gymnastics practice leotards, team competition leotards, warm-up suits, gymnastics clothing, gymnastics accessories, and so much more! Gymnasts of all ages and levels enjoy Snowflake Designs gymnastics wear. From mommy and me classes to college gymnastics teams to athletes competing in the Olympics, you can find Snowflake Designs gymnastics leotards on every stage. With almost 40 years of experience and a team full of former gymnasts and gymnastics coaches, we know exactly what gymnasts and coaches need out of gymnastics wear. From functionality and comfort to the USAG leotard rules, we have perfected our formula and styles to allow gymnasts to feel and look their best at every age and level.
We sell our gymnastics wear at retail and wholesale. We have wonderful wholesale and consignment programs to allow gyms to purchase gymnastics wear at a discounted price to sell in their pro shops. We also have a MyGymShop program which allows gyms to sell customized leotards and clothing in their very own virtual shop!
Kindra Snow-Walker, that former 2-year-old gymnast, is now President of Snowflake Designs. Kindra grew up around the business and has been working for Snowflake Designs for many years. She brings excellent ideas and perspective to the company as a former gymnast and coach. In addition to designing leotards, Kindra and her husband Ryan, have helped build the business into what it is today, along with many other wonderful people.
Snowflake Designs has grown quite a bit since the beginning, but our commitment to stellar customer service and distinctive high-quality products at great value remain top priorities. We want to deliver the best leotards around! Snowflake takes great pride in serving customers and clients as friends, in the store, on the phone, or online.
LaDonna also believes in giving back to the community that has given her so much. Her family has resided in Clovis, California for the past 40 years, and Snowflake Designs donates to many organizations in need within the community.

Founder & CEO of Snowflake Designs
LaDonna Snow is the founder and CEO of Snowflake Designs. When she could not find any leotards beyond black and pink ballet leotards for her then-2-year-old daughter, she decided to start making her own leotards. LaDonna was a competitive baton twirler herself, so sewing leotards was easy for her. Moms would ask where she got her daughter's gymnastics leotards and when they found out that LaDonna made them herself, they asked if she would make them for their daughters as well. And a business was born! Fast forward 40 years and LaDonna is still helping lead Snowflake Designs to success every day. You can find LaDonna working on our website, aiding in leotard designs, at gymnastics meets and trade shows, and doing so much more!
President of Snowflake Designs
Kindra Snow-Walker is the President of Snowflake Designs. She is also the former 2-year-old daughter whom the gymnastics leotards were being made for! Kindra was a gymnast and a gymnastics coach for many years. She has extensive experience and knowledge in the gymnastics industry. Thanks to this, she can shape Snowflake leotards and products around what gymnasts and coaches want and need from gymnastics wear. Kindra strives to continue providing high-quality, fashionable gymnastics wear while also making a positive impact on the gymnastics community. She loves giving back and donating to those in need. Kindra sees a big future for Snowflake Designs and works hard every day to ensure our customers and employees are happy and taken care of!

Ryan helps us with all of our technology needs. He also designs gymnastics leotards! He works with gymnastics coaches and teams to help them find the perfect gymnastics wear for competitions, practices, holiday shows, and so much more! Office Manager and Team Sales
Kim works with gymnastics coaches and teams to help them find the perfect gymnastics wear for competitions, practices, holiday shows, and so much more! From helping teams select a stock style to making a custom, one-of-a-kind leotard design come to life, Kim does it all! You can also sometimes find Kim at the Snowflake Designs booth at gymnastics competitions and conventions.
Kim has been with Snowflake since May 2014 and she has an extensive background in the gymnastics world. She started gymnastics when she was 5 years old. At 13 years old, she switched from gymnastics to diving, another wonderful sport! Kim has two daughters, one of whom was a gymnast, which is how she came to know about Snowflake Designs leotards! Now, Kim has a one-year-old granddaughter who is also a gymnast. And of course, she wears Snowflake leotards to gymnastics class!
Kim's experience in the sport of gymnastics and with Snowflake Designs have shaped her into a gymnastics wear expert. She has a great understanding of what coaches and gymnasts want and need out of gymnastics wear and always strives to provide them with Snowflake's best products.

Marketing Coordinator
Donna Howell is the Snowflake Designs Marketing Coordinator. She creates graphics for social media and the website, runs our social media accounts, email marketing campaigns, sales, and so much more! Donna has an extensive background in gymnastics as she was a gymnast for 17 years and on the Penn State Women’s Gymnastics team. She has also coached gymnastics for about 7 years. Her knowledge of the sport and experience in NCAA gymnastics allows her to shape Snowflake's marketing efforts around the ever-changing and growing sport of gymnastics.
