Tip to not lose your gymnastics pins: Push the pin through your gym bag. Put a drop of super glue on the post, then place the backing on. This should help to keep stuff in the bag from knocking off the backing. To remove, grasp the backing with a pair of pliers, and twist!

Driving home the next day with over 50,000 pins in the van was a challenge. The weight of those pins definitely slowed us down. Margarita had traveled the world, especially to all the Olympic Games, where she sold and traded her pins. The stories she would tell! She was called in to meet with the Gendarme in Madrid, Spain. She was terrified that she was in trouble. All he wanted to do was trade pins with her! Sadly, we lost Margarita a year later. May she be remembered for all her wonderful pin creations.
