How to Become a Snowflake Designs Ambassador
If you follow Snowflake Designs on social media (and you should!), you know we talk a lot about our brand ambassadors. They are groups of amazing gymnasts hand-selected to represent Snowflake Designs to their friends, families, and social media followers. But do you know how to become a brand ambassador for Snowflake Designs? Today we want to go through the process with you and share a few tips for increasing your chances of being selected as the next Snowflake Designs ambassador!
Requirements to be a Snowflake Designs Ambassador
There are some requirements that gymnasts must meet to be considered for selection as a brand ambassador. These are explained in greater detail on our ambassador page.
1. Gymnasts must have at least 1,000 followers on at least one social media account. Gymnasts must also have a clean social media presence and followers list, deemed by Snowflake Designs. Gymnasts must also keep their accounts set to "public" at all times so we can share their content.
To be a great ambassador for Snowflake Designs, you have to have followers with whom you can share your love for Snowflake! That's why we have a minimum follower requirement for all applicants. We send ambassadors a large amount of free items, and in return, we expect you to share your love for these items on your social media accounts. Please note, that keeping gymnasts safe on the internet is very important to us. We take steps to keep our social media profiles clean and safe to keep all our ambassadors safe. We also provide ambassadors with guidelines to keep their accounts clean and safe. We expect parents to monitor gymnasts' social media accounts to filter out any creepy followers and to ensure that only safe and appropriate content is being shared. Keeping your account public will guarantee that other social media users can see your content. This also allows us to check out your page before selecting ambassadors to make sure your content is in line with our social media guidelines, such as frequent posting and respectful communications. If you are selected as an ambassador, you are expected to post at least 2 high-quality photos or videos with Snowflake Designs products every week. In each post, you need to use the Snowflake Designs social media hashtags: #snowflakedesigns, #snowflakeleotards, #snowflakeisgymnastics and link to the Snowflake Designs website and social media accounts in your posts.
If you do not have 1,000 followers, no need to worry! Here are some tips to grow your following!
One way to grow your follower count is to post regularly, at least once a day. Start connecting with other gymnastics social media influencers by sending them messages and sharing photos with each other. Use lots of popular hashtags like #gymnastics to connect with other gymnasts. Tag us and use #snowflakedesigns and #snowflakeisgymnastics when you post photos and videos in our leotards. We will try our best to share your content and your account name on our page to help you gain more followers.
2. Gymnasts must be respectful and positive!
As a Snowflake ambassador, you are part of the Snowflake family. We are a positive, friendly, and respectful group who want to see gymnasts and other athletes lift each other and support each other. Treat your followers and other gymnasts like you would a good friend. The ambassador program is truly a sisterhood and most of our ambassadors remain close friends years after their ambassadorships with Snowflake. Creating bonds and friendships with your fellow ambassadors as well as followers, creates a supportive and caring gymnastics community.
3. Applicant must be actively training in gymnastics.
As a gymnastics wear company, we want actively training gymnasts to represent our brand! This should be reflected in your photos and videos. You should have photos in and out of the gym, and should have an account primarily focused on gymnastics. This rule does NOT apply to injury. Injuries are part of gymnastics and we will be there to encourage and support you through it! However, if an ambassador quits gymnastics during their 6-month ambassadorship, they need to inform Snowflake Designs immediately and their ambassadorship will be forfeited.
4. Gymnasts must genuinely love Snowflake Design's leotards and products!
This one's not too difficult, and pretty much explains itself! If you apply to be an ambassador, we expect you to own at least one Snowflake product already. This way you know our brand and genuinely love the products you are promoting. If you have never owned a Snowflake product, it will be very difficult for you to represent our brand.
We accept applications from gymnasts of all ages, levels, backgrounds, and locations! When forming a new ambassador group, we like to make sure we have a well-rounded group of gymnasts who represent different ages, levels, backgrounds, and locations. We will announce our next ambassador search on our social media, so be sure to follow us on Instagram and Facebook. Even if you are not selected as an ambassador, still be sure to tag us in all your posts that feature Snowflake leotards or products. We try our best to repost all posts that we are tagged in!
