Hello gymnasts! We know that a lot of you are going back to school around this time, and many of you are returning to your education via online classes and meetings. Along with the difficulty of online classes, we know that you are also continuing gymnastics practice, whether that is at home or in the gym. Keep Track of Class Times and Due Dates

One of the struggles of school is making sure that all of your homework is done on time. You might find it easier to remember everything you have to do with a whiteboard, notebook, planner, or calendar. There, you can write down assignments when they are given to you and keep track of when they are due. You can also write down other life events, such as gymnastics practices or other things you are looking forward to doing.

Leave Time for Work, and Leave Time for Play

As an online student, it is very important to separate your time for work and play. Make yourself a schedule and follow it. It is important to get all of your work done, but don’t overdo it. Always leave time to do the things that make you happy, and take breaks during your work time if they are needed. Don’t stress too much about assignments that are due weeks from now when you have all of your work for this week done.

Keep Your Workspace Organized

Since you are not going to be learning in the classroom, you must keep your work area organized. Find a place to work and study that is clean, quiet, and has all of your essentials, such as pencils, pens, erasers, paper, headphones, and a computer. Clear your work area of all distractions so that you don’t get off track during your scheduled work time. Make sure that your notebooks, paper, and even computer files all have a proper place so that nothing gets lost.

Make Use of Your Scheduled Schoolwork Time

Having time to do everything you want to do in a day while going to school online can be tough, but it’s not impossible! One of the most important things for you to do is do well in school. Make sure to be efficient during your scheduled work/school time: pay attention and ask plenty of questions during class meetings. The less confused you are about an assignment, the faster you can get it done, and the faster you can get to gymnastics practice or playtime!
