Sticking to this resolution will help you improve your gymnastics skills, get more exercise, and increase your will-power.

Whether you are at a gymnastics competition or just in practice, your attitude is one of the most influential aspects of your performance. This resolution promises that you will keep a good attitude through thick and thin. Even if you make a mistake or don’t win 1st place, you will keep a smile on your face and think of the positive. Having a positive attitude will help improve your mindset and strengthen your relationships with your teammates and coaches.

Dedicate Yourself to Practice!

Even outside of the gym, you can still improve your skills. Following this resolution means that you will dedicate time outside of practice to stretch, exercise, and train. Having gymnastics equipment at home will help you with this resolution.

Be Healthy!

To do your best, you must maintain good health. This resolution is a reminder to keep your health up, whether it’s drinking more water, making healthier food choices, or exercising outside of the gym. If you are craving a pizza and some soda for lunch, maybe make the choice to eat a sandwich and drink some water instead. Any small changes you can make to your diet and daily schedule for the better is what this resolution is all about. You don’t have to completely change your lifestyle, but taking the time to think about some healthy snack options or using your free time to stretch or go for a run will improve your mindset and make you feel good overall. Being healthy also includes your mental health. Take breaks when you need them and leave time in your day to do things that you enjoy. This can relieve stress and make you feel happier.
