    If you follow our social media (you should!), you've probably met our brand ambassadors. They represent our brand in gyms around the world and act as role models for their social media followers. We thought it would be fun to let them tell their favorite gymnastics story on our blog.

    This week's blog post was written by Kaelyn, one of our ambassadors. She wanted to share her story that happened last summer, about a mental block she developed and how she overcame it.

  4. Self-Care for Gymnasts

    While it’s good to push yourself and work hard, these things can’t happen if you don’t also practice self-care. Caring for yourself assures that you won’t become tired, overworked, or even unhealthy. Here are some tips for gymnasts to better your mental and physical health.

    Rest and Leisure Time

    Do you get enough sleep? How about leaving enough time for relaxation? Both are very important for your health. You should set your alarms and your bedtime to guarantee that you get 7-8 hours of sleep per night. Getting enough sleep allows your body to recover from practice and make sure you can perform your best gymnastics the next day. Getting enough sleep also helps you focus and reduces the risk of injuries. Make sure to also leave time during the day to relax and to do things that you enjoy, like drawing or reading. They are groups of amazing gymnasts hand-selected to represent Snowflake Designs to their friends, families, and social media followers. But do you know how to become a brand ambassador for Snowflake Designs? Today we want to go through the process with you and share a few tips for increasing your chances of being selected as the next Snowflake Designs ambassador!

    There are some requirements that gymnasts must meet to be considered for selection as a brand ambassador. These are explained in greater detail on our ambassador page.
