When a young LaDonna was introduced to Rick Snow, a handsome police officer at Fresno State, it was practically love at first sight. A little bit of dating and a shiny diamond later and there was a wedding to plan. LaDonna’s friends joked that when she had children they would be little Snowflakes. LaDonna didn’t think much of it until her first “Snowflake” arrived…Kindra Snow, now President of Snowflake Designs.
Kindra began gymnastics at 2 ½ years old. The only leotards available
V-Force Elite in Madera, CA, opened in July 2010, by Katelyn and Megan Verduzco. Both were competitive gymnasts growing up and wanted to turn their love for gymnastics into a career. They started small with 3 employees, 12 team gymnasts, and a handful of recreational classes. They now have 16 staff members, over 70 competitive girls and boys, and over 500 students attending weekly classes. Snowflake outfits V-Force Elite’s competitive teams, attends their hosted competitions and events as a vendor, and maintains a consignment in their gym.
Gymnastics has many different meanings. In a dictionary, it is defined as “exercises developing or displaying physical agility and coordination”. This definition only scratches the surface of what gymnastics really is, though. It’s easy to define gymnastics when you ask: why gymnastics?
So, why gymnastics? We put our heads together and came up with a few reasons.

Surprisingly, college gymnastics is closer to Jr. Olympics than you’d think. And the elite level gymnastics is very different from both.
Gymnastics Unlimited Benefit with Snowflake Designs
On the morning of April 24, 2023, Gymnastics Unlimited in Jacksonville, FL suffered a huge loss. The gym burned to the ground, the building and everything inside was a total loss. This tragedy took away a “safe place,” a second home to so many gymnasts over the years had been destroyed overnight.
To help Gymnastics Unlimited raise funds to rebuild the gym, Snowflake Designs created a GU Benefit leotard and t-shirt where all profits were donated
