In 2015, Snowflake Designs had their 30th birthday. After 30 years in business, the Snowflake Designs team was so excited to celebrate with friends and customers! LaDonna Snow, CEO, says she never imagined being in business this long, let alone growing the business to where it is today. It brings her great joy to see kids wearing Snowflake leotards. From making leotards for her daughters to now shipping them all over the world, it has been quite a wonderful journey.
Acrobatic gymnastics is one of the oldest sports in the world, but it was new to Snowflake Designs in 2016. LaDonna Snow, CEO of Snowflake Designs, was introduced to acrobatic gymnastics a while back and has been blown away by every single performance she sees.
LaDonna Snow had the pleasure of taking the Snowflake Designs team to the Central Coast Gymnastics' SLO Acrobatic Spectacular in San Luis Obispo, California. We watched and met 180 young athletes from across the state competing in Competitive Acrobatics, or "acro" - a combination of dance, tumbling, and partner stunts performed in pairs or groups on a spring floor.
Snowflake Designs Comes to the Rescue with Leotards
On a Tuesday in October we received a call from a member of the Arizona State University club gymnastics team. She had ordered leos from another leotard company and had just been informed that they were backordered and would not be arriving in time for team photos on Saturday. Two of Snowflakes’s wonderful reps, Ryan and Buffie, were able to work with Brittany to find a design that she liked, and that was within her budget. The Arizona State University club gymnastics team was full of smiles wearing their beautiful Cascade Leotards for pictures that weekend.
Gym coaches do so much for their gymnasts, from teaching skills and helping their students perfect those skills to being the cheerleaders and support system for their gymnasts at meets. As we gear up for National Gymnastics Day this weekend, let's show our favorite coaches some love!
To recognize all of their hard work and dedication, we wanted to give you some ideas for how you can show appreciation for your coach. Our very own ambassadors Chloe, Rose, Maddy, Sydney, and Kairi also shared with us what makes their gym coaches so special!
What Should I Do To Show My Coach I Appreciate Them?
Work hard and show dedication! Coaches use their knowledge, talent, and time to teach their gymnasts skills. Great ways to express appreciation for your coach
It is time again to introduce a new group of Snowflake Designs Brand Ambassadors! These lovely ladies were chosen to represent Snowflake Designs, and we are sure that they will do an amazing job.
Welcome, Harlow!
Hi, I’m Harlow! I love swimming and having play dates with my best friend! My favorite skill to do is to flip super fast. My favorite event is bars! I started gymnastics when I could walk in “mommy and me” classes!
